The Eyes of Tammy Faye
In the battle between God and Mammon, the winner is obvious for greed in this director's wonderfully garish true story of the disgraced televangelist and her criminal husband. It's an extravaganza of poor styling, excessive cosmetics and insincerity, though Jessica Chastain manages to present the real-life figure as a sympathetic figure. October 14th, early morning, Film4
