Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's bout.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters met for the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly happening.
